The Chemical Maze was first written by Bill Statham 2001. With this recognition comes the freedom of choice and for many a new lease of life.

Application Tips

Unfortunately we cannot provide this information online. The only way to access the Chemical Maze research is via the book or the App.

The best way to share the book is to buy a copy for friends and family. You can share the individual Additive information via the Share button in the App. This will allow you to share via Facebook, Twitter, email or SMS.

Food Additives can be identified either using the Food Additive name or be using the INS number such as 211 or e211 for Sodium Benzoate

Application Troubleshooting

From the App hope screen tap on the setting button, then tap on the “My Options” button. On this page you will see the Reset Favourites option.

We have taken the upmost care in making sure the Chemical Maze App Family work correctly through extensive testing. In case of an issue we recommend that you contact us.

General Application Use

Unfortunately due to the lack of standard food barcode databases not being readily available that carry the list of additives included, we cannot offer this feature. We are however working with a number of providers to allow this functionality to be added in the near future.

You can either enter the food additive name or the INS number in to App. For example you can type in 951 or e951 and it will return the details for Aspartame.

Since the publication of the 4th book edition of The Chemical Maze Shopping Companion there has been a growing awareness of what we are putting in our mouths and on our skin. This is no easy task, but many hundreds of hours of research have been rewarded with feedback from consumers showing that The Chemical Maze is an App whose time has well and truly come.
