Food intolerances in children are a growing concern for many parents. There is no doubt that when we compare the incidence of food related allergies and intolerances now to thirty years ago, that something very fundamental has changed in what we eat.

As manufacturing practices have become more sophisticated and families more time poor, the move to more convenient foods has come at a terrible price. Additives and artificial ingredients have been introduced to many foods that are now part of our daily diet. This is a price we pay for convenience and unfortunately our children may be the ones who are bearing the real cost of this through food intolerances.

Children consume more bad food additives by body weight than adults. So while that piece of white bread represents a relatively small percent of an adult’s daily intake, for a child the impact is much higher. Over time, this impact builds and little bodies end up over-stressed by chemicals and subject to the recurrent health problems associated with food intolerances. A daily dose of chemicals is more than many little bodies can manage. Find out by testing for food intolerances, results can be surprising!
